ABSTRACT
The earthquake annihilates a large number of buildings and endangers the lives of residents, which can increase the resilience of the AED to earthquake in accordance with building codes. Investigating damaged or damaged buildings that are designed according to this article indicates that hacking an important part of the damage to the residents and users of the structures, not due to the structural weakness, but due to the addition of the elements In the structure, they are attached to the structure in an inappropriate manner. An earthquake affects the Operational and Functional Component (OFC) differently: it sometimes creates a yin on the element or element in the element that causes it to decay from the structure, and in some cases the element acts as a pendulum Which may result in detachment from the structure and damage. In this article, the behavior of additional elements has been studied in general, and by studying a building of five concrete floors, the methods set forth in 2800 and in the Regulations Including UBC and NEHRP has been evaluated and the benefits and constraints of each code have been stated.
INTRODUCTION
In the case of earthquake engineering, the elements in the building can be divided into two main parts. Structural elements are the first of these elements, which
include sections of the building that resist gravity, earthquake, wind, and other types of loads, and essentially constitutes the portions of a building, such as beams, columns, braces, slabs, foundations . Non-structural elements (OFCs) form the second part of a building, which includes parts of the building that are attached as additional elements to beams, columns, and floors. Non-elemental elements have no bearing on the building, such as windows, Office equipment, computers, cabinets, lamps, chandeliers, etc. According to the classification of FEM 74, all additional elements are classified in three categories: a) part of the building system, such as a water and piping system, elevators, a distribution system, and so on. (B) architectural components (facade) such as false ceilings, windows, doors, lamps, decorative interior and exterior. (C) Furniture and furniture such as bookshelves, furniture, suites, cabinets, computers, and so on.
