چکیده

در چهار قسمت گذشته اين بخش درباره تاسيس شرکت اپل توسط استيو جابز و وزنياک صحبت کرديم و در ادامه درباره مراحل پيشرفت اين شرکت همراه با هوش تجاري اين دو شريک و پستي و بلندي هاي  ميان آنها و رقيب ديرينه آنها، يعني شرکت مايکروسافت، مطالبي را عنوان کرديم تا آنکه اين جريانات به ترک اپل توسط استيو جابز و بازگشت دوباره او پس از سال ها، منجر شد. يک سال بعد از ورود استيو جابز به اپل، imacکه نمونه اي از يک مکينتاش کامل بود توسط شرکت اپل عرضه شد که عمده تغييرات موجود در آن، استفاده از درگاه USBبرخلاف محصولات قديمي شرکت بود و اتفاقا بر خلاف آنکه از لحاظ فني، تغيير چنداني در آن ديده نمي شد اما فروش خوبي را بعد از مدت ها رکود، براي اپل داشت. در ادامه تغييرات عمده در ساختار محصولات اپل که عمدتا به جسارت و شجاعت استيو  همراه بوده است، سيستم عامل MAC OS Xدر سال 2001متولد شد سيستم عاملي که همراه خود تغييرات زيادي را در نياز کاربران خود ايجاد کرد. اين سيستم عامل بر گرفته از بود و از اين سالUNIX BSD وNEXTSTEP به بعد و علاوه بر رابط کاربري خوبي که براي آن تهيه شده بود، از نظر امنيتي نيز به توفيقاتي دست يافت و از آن به بعد، در ميان کاربران به امنيت بالا مشهور گشت. در ادامه ارائه محصولات جديد توسط گروه اپل، ipodبه عنوان يک وسيـله ديجيتال جهت پخش موزيک با فروش 42ميليوني در سال 2001با يک موفقيت شگفت انگيز روبرو شد و کم کم برنامه و نرم افـزار itunes نيز با قيمت هر موزيک 99سنت در ميــان کــاربـران جا باز تا هــرچه بيشتر اپل را به قـله موفقيت هايش نزديک تر کند که با محبوبيت اين سيستم در ميان کاربران تا سال ،2006 تعداد آهنگ هاي ارائه شده به 1ميليارد موزيک رسيد که خود به تنهايي نشان از شناخته شدن و مورد توجه قرارگرفتن اين ايده در ميان استفاده کنندگان داشت. البته اپل براي پشتيباني از فناوري هاي جديدنيز غافل نبود و از اين سال به بعد نيز در اين زمينه پيش قدم شد و با آينده نگري خاص اصحاب و مديران اين شرکت ، فناوري BLU-RAYاز شرکت سوني، نيز مورد حمايت شرکت قرار گرفت .
