Today’s cancer patients are better informed than ever before. Manypatients come to their doctor equipped with a stack of literature and a good understanding of their diagnosis and treatment. But a crucial component is missing. Most patients have no idea that the quality of their treatment is a key factor that can influence their survival. Making matters worse is the fact that even if patients were aware of this issue, they don’t have the tools to evaluate whether their team is providing top-notch care.
