ABSTRACT
In order to investigate the effect of the hydrostatic pressure (HIP) process on the Rene-80 superalloy microstructure, the optimal cycle of this process was determined. For this purpose, the compressive hydrostatic pressure (HIP) process under pressure conditions of 120 MPa for 4 hours was applied at temperatures of 1100, 1000, 900, 800 and 1200 degrees Celsius. Then, a stress-rupture test under pressure of 195 MPa and a temperature of 990 ° C was used to evaluate the HIP samples and determine the optimal HIP cycle. The microstructure and microhardness of the microstructure were investigated. The effect of applying the optimal compressive hydrostatic cycle (HIP) cycle was studied. The results of the samples under the optimal HIP cycle indicated a change in the morphology of the sediments’ γ. Micropropagation defects in the samples were also eliminated and the uniform distribution of the γ ‘γ deposits in the γ region is possible with the optimal HIP cycles.
INTRODUCTION
Rene-80 is a nickel base superalloy, principally reinforced by a centralized centralized network (FCC) of sediments (γ ‘- Ni3 (Al, Ti). The base and main factor in the high strength of the superalloy, Rene 80, is a combination of good oxide resistance at high temperatures. For this reason, it is used extensively in the aerospace, nuclear and petrochemical industries. Many advances have been made in the melting and casting technology of this alloy, but problems such as microsurgery, the presence of cavities and high dispersion in mechanical properties make casting products difficult to use. Nowadays, the Hydrostatic Pressure Process (HIP) is a good method for producing The superalloys are cast and powder metallurgy. The HIP operation is carried out by applying high temperature and pressure, and varies according to the type of material, so that the temperature in the HIP varies between 100 to 2000 degrees Celsius and the pressure ranges from 10 to 200 MPa, also from HIP to The title of the method of rejuvenating parts during work is supported, although there are still differences of opinion in this area. The main advantage of the HIP process is the reduction of cavities and cracks and rejuvenation of materials. In this regard, recent research has shown that the third stage creep in superalloys is due to the transformation and transformation of shapes whose intersections are defects such as cavities and cracks.
