ABSTRACT
This paper presents a method for allocating losses based on the theory of circuits and the concept of the decomposition of current components for the electricity market. The characteristics of this method provide a clear and intuitive understanding of the allocation of casualties. This method first defines the flow components in order to determine the share of the producer or the consumer in the branch flow. Then the power throughput in each branch is decomposed and the allocation of branch losses is obtained. Since the acceptance of the allocation of negative transmission losses depends on the type of market and its players, the other suggestion is that some of the bases with a negative loss allocation do not pay the market players, for this purpose, the normalized weighted coefficients We use. For better understanding of the proposed method, this method is implemented in an IEEE 14-busi power system and compared with other methods.
INTRODUCTION
Generators and consumers of electric power with different power contracts that exist throughout the system, causing casualties in the network. Transition losses account for between $ 5% and 10% of total production and cost millions of dollars each year. As a result, the question of “who should pay the cost of the loss of transfer” is posed and the cost-effective sharing of the power system among all market participants is a key issue. Unfortunately, given that casualties are expressed as a nonlinear function of the flow lines, accurate calculation of the losses caused by each generator, load or contract that flows into the system is complicated and difficult.
