(Burcharth et al., 2007; Ranasinghe , Turner, 2006; Lamberti et al., 2005).
ABSTRACT
In this study, the SPH method was used to simulate wave interactions and artificial habitat structures. SPH is a non-network modeling technique that can process high-precision surface water shapes. In this method, for the calculation of fluid pressure, it is necessary to formulate precisely the uncompromising hydrodynamics of the problem. A numerical solution is obtained using a two-stage semi-implicit system of governing equations. This flow model solves the unsaturated Navier Stokes three-dimensional equations for the external flow of the porous medium and the Stokes porosity equations for flow in the porous medium. In the simulation of the porous medium, additional frictional forces were used in the equations. To validate the model, the results were obtained with the results of experiments with regular waves on artificial submerged biodiversity. The results of the experiments and calculations show that the flow model H can be a suitable method for simulating the hydrodynamic of artificial life.
INTRODUCTION
Coastal structures such as breakwaters, water jets and coastal walls have been used for many years as coastal protection (Dean, Dalrymple, 2001; Silvester and Hsu, 1997; Seiji et al., 1987). ) The use of submerged structures that do not affect the beauty of the coastal area is one of the methods of protecting the coast, which has received a great deal of attention in recent years, and the use of artificial objects which, in addition to the environmental aspect, They are one of the modern ways to protect the coast. (Burcharth et al., 2007; Ranasinghe, Turner, 2006; Lamberti et al., 2005). The interaction of the wave and the porous medium (such as artificial life) is important because of the importance of the amount of energy that enters the structure. In the first studies on porosity fluid motion in Sollit 1972 and Cross for the flow simulation in porous media, the inertia was added and nonlinear resistive force was proposed. In the following, Rojanakamthorn et al. (1989) presented a model for the passage of wave from a porous medium on a sloping bed. In 1994, Van Gent used shallow water equations for modeling the wave motion of porous structures. In contrast to these models, which does not pay attention to the non-linearity and frequency distribution, Cruz et al. (1997) present a model based on the Boisinsk equations for considering the wave transfer in porous media.
