ABSTRACT
In this paper, the relationship between microstructure and mechanical properties of TLP bonding of nickel GTD-111 superalloy is investigated. The effect of self-freezing time, homogeneous freezing and homogenization operations on the stiffening profile and shear bond strength according to its microstructure are discussed. The results showed that when the freezing of the homogeneity is not complete, the eutectic structure resulting from the freezing of the atherm is due to the hardness and brittleness of the preferred crack growth site, and after the completion of freezing, homogeneity is the extent of the formation of the gamma-ramose sedimentation factor controlling the binding strength. The bonding strength after the homogeneous heat treatment reached about 90% of the shear strength of the base metal.
INTRODUCTION
Nitrous base supercool alloys, gamma-primer-stricture precipitates, such as GTD-111 superalloy, are widely used in hot air and ground gas turbines. Preventing the formation of undesirable intermetallic phases in the center of connection and the development of a homogeneous γ / γ structure throughout the bonding site are two key factors in the coupling of nickel base alloy superalloys to hardening sediment. The two common methods for welding and repairing nickel base alloy superalloys are hardening sediments, melt welding and soldering. The ability to weld superalloys depends on their Ti + Al content. Base alloy nickel base alloys with phase γ, which contains high amounts of Al and Ti, have a high sensitivity to cracking during welding and post-weld heat treatment. In addition, non-equilibrium fuzzy metamorphisms and their micropropagation during non-equilibrium freezing in the melting welding often result in the formation of intermetallic compounds rich in alloys in the strength of the component, which greatly affects the high temperature efficiency of the superalloys. One of the limitations of the hard soldering method is the formation of crisp beryllium or silicon phases that have a harmful effect on mechanical properties of the binding. On the other hand, the maximum working temperature of hardened solder welds is limited to the relatively low melting point of these interphaltic compounds, and consequently the strength and creep strength of the connection decreases. Today, 1TLP process is considered as an alternative method for connecting and repairing superalloys. Transient Liquid Phase Coupling (TLP) is a combination of hard soldering processes (connection in the presence of a molten) and intrusive connection (solid state).
