ABSTRACT
Today, given the benefits of using hydrate in the transfer and storage of natural gas, this issue has been considered a researcher. Also, due to the formation of hydrate, which is at low temperature and high pressure, it has been tried to bring the conditions closer to the environmental conditions. To do this, add-ons that change the thermodynamic points. In this study, Tetra-N-butyl-ammonium chloride salts (TBAC) at a concentration of 40% by weight, whose equilibrium data are not available in the literature, have been used. Equilibrium data at pressures of 10 to 30 times indicate that at initial concentration of TBAC, the initial pressure has very little effect on the equilibrium points. Also, the use of a high percentage of weight of TBAC will close the temperature of the formation of carbon dioxide gas hydrate to ambient temperature, which is very significant in industrial processes. The results have shown that the initial temperature of the reactor is unaffected by the balance points.
INTRODUCTION
The natural gas hydrate is a solid crystalline compound that is a mixture of water and gas and is part of the family of calatrites. Gas molecules (guests) are stuck inside the water network (host) cavities, which are generated through the hydrogen bonding of non-molecules of water. Particular examples of these gas molecules are compounds that are smaller than pentane in natural gas, such as methane, propane and carbon dioxide. Chalatetes are considered as solid solutions, in which guest gas molecules and hydrate-forming gases are in contact with the host network (water). Therefore, gas hydrates are known as non-stoichiometric solids. Between the water molecules in the hydrate structure there is a strong hydrogen bond, while there is no chemical interaction between host-host molecules, and they are held together only by van der Rully forces.
