ABSTRACT
In this study, an algorithm for evaluating the numerical performance of the explosive gas pressure in the development of cracks in the vicinity of the explosive chamber is presented. The finite element method has been used to model the cracking and analysis of solid media. In order to investigate the possibility of crack growth, the integral method is used to calculate the stress intensity factor J and serve as a criterion for crack expansion. The flow of gas in the crack is assumed to be a one-dimensional flow, and its equations are obtained by finite difference method with respect to mass restraint and inertia. To estimate the pressure of the gases generated by the explosion, the JWL equation is used to estimate the pressure values in the gas expansion stages. In this algorithm, the problem is solved for a limited time for the gas program, and then the calculated computed inertia pressure is transmitted as a boundary condition to the extended finite element program. If the factor is greater, the intensity of the stress increases to a critical mass. The results of this algorithm are compared with the available experimental data. At the end, the relative capability of the gas produced from the explosion of PTP, TNT, slar, and emulsion bombs is compared in the expansion of the cracks around the chal. The results of this study show that the param- eter parameter in gas power is the coefficients of the equation of the bursting state and not just its density.
INTRODUCTION
Both tensile stresses and explosive gases play important roles in crack production in solids. The performance of tensional waves is the production of primary cracks around the hull, and the gas pressure performance of the development of these primary cracks is Sasa. And colleagues discussed the grinding mechanism of brittle materials under the influence of explosives at low explosive speed, numerically and in vitro. They showed that the final length of the cracks depends on the pressure and depth of the gas penetration, and also the depth of the gas penetration determines the number of cracks. McAckhock states that the results of laboratory tests show that the effect of gas pressure may be dominated by tension waves. Nilsson et al. Developed the necessary equations for the analysis of gas flow in crack. Dahonka et al. Reported that the tensions quickly surpassed the Turks and that their major crushing operations were produced by gas pressure.
