ABSTRACT
The steel was 4340 steel. First, the smoothing operation was carried out at 850 ° C for 1 hour, after which the samples were stored at 740 ° C for 90 minutes, ie, the ferrite-austenite diphasic region, and then directly into the salt bath Were transferred. In order to obtain different morphologies of the Binet, various samples were stored at 400, 350, 300 and 450 ° C for 1 hour in a salt bath and then cooled in air to room temperature. Microstructure of the specimens was determined by light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and ferrite scintillation by visual analysis. SEM results showed that, with increasing austemperature temperature, the bite morphology changes from low to low bite. By performing tensile, impact and hardness tests, it was determined that with increasing the aestempering temperature from 300 to 400 ° C, the yield strength, tensile strength, hardness, uniform and total length gain and impact energy decreases. Of course, for 450 ° C, rebound strength, tensile strength and stiffness, and a more severe decrease in total and peak energy were obtained. The study of the tensile strength fracture surfaces confirms the abrasive behavior observed at this austempering temperature. This anti-expectation behavior was attributed to the annealing phenomenon, the growth of the cross-section of the ferrite blades, and the formation of coarse carbides.
INTRODUCTION
Double-phase steels are a new category of low-alloy steels with high strength and formability. The main motive for accepting biphasic steels for use in high strength products is a significant reduction in process cost. Due to problems such as localized stiffening in the weld area, the inappropriateness of the tensile flange tensile formations and the specific production method for ferritic-magnesium steels, and in order to obtain better properties, martensite replaced the bite. For the production of two-phase steels with a ferrite-bayette structure, heat treatment is called the inter-critical dispersion. In order to create austenite and ferrite phases, the samples are placed in a two phase duct for a specific time, and then cool at a higher temperature than the starting temperature of martensite (Ms), which is called austemperature temperature, with a suitable track for converting austenite to bin.
