ABSTRACT
The slip and instability of rock slopes are always one of the threatening factors that jeopardize the safety of vital structures and structures such as highways, railways and power lines that cross mountainous areas. One of the ways of preventing such types of instability is the use of weapon systems such as rock bolts in rock slopes. While routine distribution of weapon elements in the levels of rock slopes is considered uniform, it may be necessary to have more weapons on some slopes due to some geometric or mechanical properties of the layers. Recently, in order to improve these disadvantages, a new approach to DRD degradation analysis or the required level of weaponization has been proposed. This method provides a logical process for the optimal distribution of the weapon elements required for rock slopes. In order to use this method, at first, the slope is zoned in terms of geomechanical and geometric characteristics, and then the actual need of each region for weapon elements is determined by a special algorithm. In this method, for each slope, the coefficients of influence are determined and then the effect coefficient matrix for the desired slope is determined. Then the displacement of each of the slope areas is determined, and then the displacement ratio matrix is determined by the relationship and specific algorithm for the desired slope. In the following, after obtaining the matrices of the coefficients of influence and the displacement ratio, and during a matrix operation, the DRD values for each of the slope areas are determined. Finally, due to the DRD values in different slope areas, the amount of weapon elements in each area is calculated and distributed from the slope. Finally, the use of this method in the project of weaponization of the slopes of the slopes of Siah Bisheh Dam is discussed.
INTRODUCTION
Stone slopes and rock masses are more discontinuous in comparison with soil masses, and stone deposits have been separated from each other due to these discontinuities and have formed an inhomogeneous environment. This is one of the reasons Slip and instability of slope slopes. To avoid the slippage and failure of rock slopes, areas that are more likely to be unstable must be identified.
