ABSTRACT
Today, with the advancement of human knowledge and the development of advanced structures, analytical methods and engineering approximations are used less complexly. Hence, solving such complex problems is increasingly dependent on numerical methods. Numerical methods are also being developed day by day. One of the applications of numerical methods is the failure analysis of materials. In the present article, the combination of two newly developed isogeometric numerical methods and finite elemental components is used to analyze the crack tipping field in an isotropic environment. A method or a pogeometric method is a nini-numerical method in which these non-bank functions are used to construct the geometric model of the structure and, according to the isoparametric concept, these functions are also used in the approximation of the structure response. The features of this approach include a geometric guess modeling and easy implementation of mesh improvement strategies. On the other hand, the extended finite element method is another numerical method, which, based on the unit configuration and the application of enrichment functions derived from analytical solution, developed a finite element method for fracture analysis with more efficient capabilities. One of these capabilities is the lack of need for reconnection in the development problems of the cracks and the unnecessity of the alignment of the cracks and the boundary of the mesh, while increasing the accuracy of the solution. In this paper, the concepts of the method of finite element components The method is used to simulate an isogeometric method for solving two-dimensional problems with cracking in an isotropic environment and its relations are rewritten. The proposed method enjoys the benefits of both the methodology and the finite element finite element method. In the end, in order to determine the efficiency of the proposed method, two elastostatic cracking problems are analyzed using this method as well as the finite element finite element method and its results are analyzed.
INTRODUCTION
Since failure analysis is important in the design progress of many engineering structures, crack prediction and analysis have become one of the research topics welcomed by researchers over the past two decades. In this regard, numerical methods are rapidly evolving. Finite element method is one of the most widely used numerical methods. In order to resolve some of its shortcomings, a new generation of numerical methods has been developed.
