ABSTRACT
Polycaprolactone foamarate / Methacrylic Acid / Hydroxyapatite nanocomposite was designed with the aim of replacing bone tissue. In making this composite, a non-saturated biopolymer-polysaccharide polycaprolactone foamate was used as a phase background and from hydroxyapatite nanoparticles as a reinforcing phase. Using macromolecular network of polycaprolactone foamarate under the action of monomeric agent of methacrylic acid, heat treatment of samples containing polycaprolactone foamrate with various molecular weights and with different weight percentages of hydroxyapatite and methacrylic acid was performed. After composite construction, the tensile strength of the samples was determined by DTS test. The results indicated a weak failure of the composite specimens and indicated that with increasing molecular weight of polycaprolactone foamarate and hydroxyapatite, the tensile strength of the diameter of the samples increased.
INTRODUCTION
In the last 30 years, ceramics, bioactive glasses and glass ceramics have become widely used in the field of medicine as “general” biochemicals. Biosimages are compatible with the human body, which are biocompatible because of their chemical composition, which include ions found mainly in the physiological environment of the body, and ions that produce very little toxicity in the body. Synthetic polymers also have a long history in medical applications, and the successful use of them as a bulk material can be noted for the use of methylmethacrylate (PMMA) and high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) in the complete replacement of the femur. In recent years, advances in tissue engineering have led to biodegradability polymers such as polyglycolic acid, (PGA) polyclakide, (PLA) polycaprolactone (PCL), and a number of other polymers that can be used as scaffolding Biodegradable. The use of ceramic particles as a polymer enhancer phase was first proposed by Banfeld et al. In 1981. Particles reinforced polyethylene(PE / HA) HA is the first polymer composite reinforced with ceramic particles. The clinical success of this composite provides the basis for making other bioactive polymer composite composites. The combination of bioactive ceramics such as calcium phosphates to polymers is followed by two goals of increasing the mechanical properties of the polymer and improving the properties of the bone growth stimulus of the polymer.
