ABSTRACT
Self-propelled platforms are mobile platforms and have drilling ability in different locations; they are portable to another point and set up at that point. In this research, to investigate the actual behavior of self-propelled platforms, nonlinear dynamical analysis has been investigated considering the interaction between soil-structure. For this purpose, the behavior of individual foundations, nonlinear behavior of soil near the structure, phenomena created on the boundary between soil and foundation, such as separation phenomenon, and finally geometric nonlinear behavior of the structure have been investigated. The modeling was done by ABAQUS numerical software and VBA programming language. Soil used in grain type is different with different friction angles and for soil modeling, the foundation method has been used on non-elastic Winkler bedding. Loading is in the form of a wave of isolation. The results show that soil ductile behavior increases the displacement in the body and the uneven stable layers under the substructures, and this behavioral behavior increases with decreasing the internal friction angle of the soil, φ. Also, the platform’s normal platform is different from the two fully-articulated and articulated bases and changes the dynamic responses of the platform. Therefore, the base set of these platforms and the soil underneath it creates a relative cementation on the base of these platforms. To simulate this behavior, the anchor-period curves in the base of the base with the sea bed, which depend on the dimensions of the base and type of soil Is obtained; these curves are a simple way to consider relative absorption with the assumption of a torsion spring in this joint area, instead of considering the interaction of soil and structure.
INTRODUCTION
Due to the increasing development of offshore industries, self-propelled platforms have changed dramatically. So that today these platforms can be easily operated in deep waters with severe environmental conditions. In order to use these platforms in the environmental conditions, it is more critical than design, requiring a dynamic analysis that involves dynamic wave effects, secondary anchor effects and large variations, with consideration for soil interaction with the structure (nonlinear). So that the capacity of these platforms can be used if possible.
