ABSTRACT
The assembly and installation of aluminum superstructure in ships, due to the inability to impermeability, also the presence of galvanic corrosion in the deck area and super stroke is one of the most important problems of the vessels, and so far, the joints are established by their interconnections between the screws and the Neoprene rubber. In this study, explosive welding of aluminum-commercial sheets (Al-1250) as bird metal and steel grade (Steel grade-E) as a metal material with thicknesses of 6, 4 mm, whose specimen has not yet been evaluated in the world. It is conducted during practical tests under different stopping times and explosive charges. For examination of samples, mechanical shear and ultrasonic microscopic tests have been performed on all specimens. Also, optical and electron microscopy studies have been performed on the weld joint joint. The effect of the stopping distance on the dynamic collision angle relative to the explosive load will be investigated. Meanwhile, by drawing a welding window for AL1250 / STEEL and evaluating the location of all points of the tests, the tests will be carried out in relation to the welding range and the connection of the joints in all experiments.
INTRODUCTION
The results of recent advances in shipping technology indicate that by increasing the weight in the upper area and reducing the weight of the machinery, the movement will slow down and reduce the floating equilibrium. This limitation has been largely overcome by using aluminum alloys with a density of 2700 kg / m in the areas of the Super Stroke of the ships. Due to the fact that the density of the used steels is about 7870kg / m3, it can be said that the aluminum is 37% less condensate than steel and it will be lighter. The first ship built with aluminum superstructure is the British Navy (HMSAMAZON) ship, in which a large amount of aluminum alloy was used in the superstructure area. Later in the naval forces of advanced countries, most aluminum vessels were used in the Super Stroke area. The connection of aluminum and steel is not a simple connection; traditional welding methods are not suitable for connecting these two alloys, because each of these metals has different melting points temperatures. Usually, low carbon steel has a melting temperature of 1500-1,600C.
