ABSTRACT
The study of flow in rotational fields such as river bolts, as well as niches and surrounding islands in marine environments, is very important for the design of hydraulic structures. These types of currents have a major contribution to sediment transport around these fields. Two-dimensional models based on shallow water equations, such as the Mike21 model, are not able to simulate secondary flows. On the other hand, the use of three-dimensional models to simulate these types of flows requires considerable computational costs. The purpose of this study is to provide and compare methods that can be used to estimate the secondary flow field based on a two-dimensional flow field with an approximate approximation. In this regard, these methods are presented and compared to estimate the flow of secondary stream in the river environment as well as rotational flows in marine environments. The results show that the power of secondary currents depends on various factors such as curvature, bed roughness, coriolis force and water depth, and with an appropriate approximation, they can be estimated based on the main field. The results of the research can be used to calculate the sedimentation of rotational fields and planes in the vicinity of these types of ribs.
INTRODUCTION
The existence of more than 2500 km of coastal boundaries on the southern and northern shores of the country on the one hand, and the significant growth of industrial, commercial and tourist projects in these areas, on the other hand, requires special attention to the recognition of coastal flows and their use in conservation and conservation projects. Turns on the beach development. Therefore, in this study, it has been attempted, by calculating a specific stream called the secondary flow around islands or nests, to take a short step, in order to respond to this technical need of the country, so that the context for continuing this Make the path smoother. To better understand the problem, a simple example can be started: When you mix the tea with the spoon, these are secondary currents that accumulate debris in the middle of the glass. This phenomenon is referred to in many studies (Pingree, 1978) and is generally used in practical work to simulate the dynamics of sediments.
