ABSTRACT
Water is one of the most important pillars in all industries, and access to quality water plays an important role in productivity, increasing the quality and quantity of the product, reducing maintenance costs, and so on. Water in almost all heavy industries, such as oil and gas and petrochemicals, power plants, mining, steel, etc., and light industries such as food, pharmaceutical, automotive, textile, leather, poultry, chemical, and mining industries. … as well as agricultural industry plays a vital role, and access to water of the quality of each sector is an important factor in the survival of any industry. Due to lack of available drinking water, water purification systems or sweeteners are widely used today. In some cases, the desalinating machine is also used to supply the water needed by the industry (with certain qualitative standards). The use of water desalination or water purification systems is mainly due to the high solubility of water for TDSs. In this research, the system of water desalination has been investigated by electrodialysis method. Also, to increase system efficiency, exergy of desalination system and also complete exergy degradation were evaluated. The result was poor performance of the desalinating system by electrodialysis in the process of separation.
INTRODUCTION
Water is the most important source of life and prosperity. This material is the source of life and is an integral part of all living things. Water is very important in human civilization. Twenty years ago, the nation’s most important national energy was energy, but in the near future they would swap water with oil. For energy, except for oil, alternatives are not cheaper available to mankind, but there is no substitute for water, and nowadays emphasis is placed on the conservation and optimal use and recovery of water resources. Water covers more than three quarters of the Earth’s surface. 97.2% of the water in the planet is accumulated in the oceans and seas, but only about 8.2% of the available water can be drunk. A significant proportion of the total surface water of the planet is in the form of polar regions, natural holes, air humidity and soil, which is practically inaccessible and only 62.6% of which are present in rivers or as lakes of fresh water and underground resources And humans provide their drinking water from these sources.
