ABSTRACT
In this paper, the effect of the previous transformation on the formation of austenite and the recrystallization of binomial structures in a multiphase steel containing residual austenite has been studied. The behavior of austenite formation in work samples is different with strain-free samples. The formation of austenite (and, consequently, the size of austenite grains) in the working samples is controlled by the competition between the two factors causing austenite and the recrystallization of bite during annealing. The results show that austenite particles are preferably formed at the boundary between the austenitic grains and then in the austenite grains, especially during the bundles and openings, when the bifurcation is slowly crystallized. But when the visibility changes (50%), recrystallization of the structure occurs quickly before the formation of austenite, and the austenite particles are generally formed on the boundary between the fine ferrite grains resulting from recrystallization.
INTRODUCTION
When austenite is transformed to a finite structure such as ferrite, perlite or nyite, the austenitic condition of the primary, especially the size of its grains, is very important for further micronization and the achievement of excellent mechanical properties. It is obvious that the formation of austenite (and hence the size of its grains) depends heavily on the initial structure of the steel. The formation of austenite and the possibility of re-crystallization during the heating of the brittlenessal steels from the point of view of obtaining optimal conditions (grain size, carbon percentage and distribution of alloying elements) are of great importance. It should also be noted that, due to the nature of the transformation, they have high internal energy (due to stress during the transformation). Therefore, binatty structures are among the suitable structures for fine graining through recrystallization. Many studies have been done on the formation of austenite in martensite structures. In a study on the formation of austenite from martensite structures in carbon steel, it has been reported that austenite can be formed in two different forms. In the first case, austenite sprouts with co-axial grains on the boundary between the primary austenitic grains (before the formation of martensite), and the other a needle-shaped austenite formed by budding in the martensitic plates.
