ABSTRACT
The analysis of measured deformations and the behavior of the tunnels excavated in the rock in the design of the tunnel is very important. A common method for doing this is the numerical analysis of underground structures. Despite the development of numerous numerical analysis methods such as finite element, boundary components and limited geotechnical design such as tunnels, caverns, etc., it is still very difficult to predict the mechanical behavior of such structures with sufficient accuracy. It is noteworthy that the predicted accuracy depends mainly on the accuracy of the input data used in the analysis, while a quantitative assessment of the ground parameters (including geological structures, geomechanical properties of the rock, initial state of stress in the earth, permeability, model Behavioral, and …) is very difficult, with enough precision. For this reason, in many cases, the predicted behaviors and the actual behavior of the ground are different. One of the methods that is nowadays used to improve such a problem is instrumental and behavioral measurement during construction. As a complementary approach to such problems in geotechnical engineering issues, the tendency toward computational intelligence techniques has increased in recent years. In this research, the artificial neural network was predicted from the tunnel tunnel data in 29 sections of the tunnel tunnel and the barstone specification, elasticity modulus, RMR, friction angle and adhesion angle, convergence, and tunnel crown arrangement.
INTRODUCTION
Stone and rock masses have geomechanical complex features as geological elements. Their mechanical behavior is due to several factors associated with their formation processes and their geological environments. It is difficult to define these factors, especially geological factors, in conventional math formats for later work analyzes. In most cases, only a few of these factors, instead of all of them, are inserted as variables in the formulas. Therefore, the empirical data obtained with the predicted results of this group of formulas are not consistent. Currently, geotechnical design is largely influenced by similar experiences in similar geological conditions and also influenced by the ability of geotechnical engineers with experience in analyzing geological information and understanding the most likely failure mechanism (Ahmadi, Ebrahimpour, 2008).
