ABSTRACT
In recent years, there are models of the market in which the behavior of an agent or a group of factors is considered, with the assumption that they follow the <limited logic>. In the financial literature, this family of models is referred to as “operating models”. In this paper, by introducing an agent-based model, we examine and parameterize the two psychological motivational factors in financial decision making and provide a model for market price changes. The first factor is the stress caused by remaining in the minority’s position of buying or selling relative to the global market inclination which entails joining the majority of the market and is referred to as “fear of being a minority”. The second factor is an increase in the willingness of the perpetrators to re-examine their investment position according to the market conditions, which is referred to as the “property review”. For each of these factors and each of the factors in the model, we consider a threshold level, and whenever an agent crosses the threshold level for each of the factors, we change the position of that factor in the market, which is It leads to a change in the price of the asset. By performing numerous numerical simulations, we show that taking into account only two motivating factors, can realistic structural data be the real market data of the market? Effective distribution, distribution elongation, lack of correlation between price and cluster yields restored turbulence over short term (multi-day) periods. In addition, by adding an additional parameter, we will strengthen the impact of market disturbance, which will restore the long-term correlation of turbulence.
INTRODUCTION
The models of the financial markets of the year are influenced by the standard assumptions called the market hypothesis. In an efficient market, prices should reflect all the information available to market participants. The efficient market hypothesis is classified into three categories: strong, semi strong and weak. In the strong version, market prices reflect all information, including internal information. In the semi-strong form, prices reflect the information that is accessible to the public, and in the weak form, the information set reflects only the past behavior of market prices.
