ABSTRACT
The Gidler sulfide process uses two towers to absorb and dispose of hydrogen sulfide gas to produce heavy water. The most important problems in the process are the formation of gas hydrates and foam in the cold tower. In the first study, these problems are described in full and then on the methods of preventing the formation of foam, the antifungals used in this process, the factors of hydrate formation, how to prevent it, and the positive and negative combination of additives in order to prevent the formation of floors And gas hydrates are discussed. Among all the methods for preventing hydrate formation, only kinetics can be used in this process. Among the methods of preventing foam formation, only the unstable process of the floor can be utilized by surfactants with a water content balance, oil friendliness, and a critical concentration of low moss formation. To solve process problems, these parameters must be checked for different surfactants under the same operating conditions as the process. For this purpose, surfactants which are suitable in terms of surface tensile properties are suggested to be tested in a similar geometry of the Sidnid tower of the Gidlar Sulfide process. To investigate the problem of foam and hydrate simultaneously, it is recommended to test anti-glutamic and anti-hydrate performance measurements, anti-glare and anti-hydrate effects on mass transfer coefficients and to investigate positive and negative coupling in a bubble column with pressure tolerance to cold tower operating pressure In the Gidler sulfide process.
INTRODUCTION
The GS process is a method of industrial heavy water production (deuterium oxide). Heavy water is one of the most important components of nuclear reactors, which acts as a non-ferrous modifier. The Gidlorsulfidation process is an isotope exchange process between light water and hydrogen sulfide, in which heavy water is purified in a few steps. This process is one of the most economically acceptable processes for producing this strategic substance, since in this process, the deuterium atom can be easily and without the need for a catalyst, and can only be shifted between two phases, only by changing the temperature conditions. This process involves two cinnamon towers. The first tower (cool or absorbent tower) is kept at a temperature of 30 ° C, the second tower (heated or deflated) at 130 ° C and both towers at a pressure of 20 bar.
